Redsys
Redsys is the Spanish payment processing company that most of the country’s banks work with. It has been providing services to financial institutions – and, through them, to retailers – for over 40 years, handling both in-person and online payments.
It also provides services between financial institutions and operates in Latin America. Waitry and Redsys work together seamlessly so that you can accept payments via your bank’s virtual POS terminal.
Earn with Redsys at the kiosk, the table and on your website
The customer pays however they like and the money goes straight into your account. With Waitry and Redsys, you’ll have the same takings across all your channels, with no need for manual reconciliation when closing the till.
Where can I sign up for Redsys?
At the bank where you hold your account. They will ask for the company’s or self-employed person’s tax identification number (NIF) and details of an existing account, and they will sort it out for you.
What details do I need to connect it to Waitry?
The details sent to you by the bank in the post: merchant number, terminal number and encryption key.
How much does it cost?
Fees for virtual POS terminals are agreed between each retailer and their bank. Please check with your bank.
