Hello! We’re kicking off the week with three key updates designed to optimize your operations and eliminate friction at the point of sale and in the service experience.

Latin America: Your customers can now pay for their orders at kiosks with QR.

Waitry reinforces its integration and alliance with Mercado Pago throughout Latin America, allowing your customers to pay from their cell phones in the simplest way today: scanning a QR code. This is now available for Argentina 🇦🇷, Uruguay 🇺🇾, Chile 🇨🇱, Mexico 🇲🇽, Peru 🇵🇪 and Colombia 🇨🇴.

By adding this option, your customers can pay not only with physical cards, Apple Pay and Google pay at the terminals, but also with their account balance, bank account, debit or credit card.

The best part? You don’t need additional payment terminals or to handle cash; it is a 100% digital process.

Updating in Visual Editor of Plans and Tables:

We have redesigned the way you configure your restaurant. We launched a new Floor Plan Editor, a visual tool that allows you to draw the actual layout of your tables and zones directly from the administration panel. This facilitates operational management and improves the visual experience when assigning orders to specific tables.

Facial identification with AI in Kiosks:

When a customer arrives hungry, every second counts. That’s why we added facial recognition technology to our self-service kiosks.

By integrating a WebCam, your customers will be able to identify themselves and log in simply with their face. This not only speeds up the purchase by avoiding forms, but now your Waitry loyalty club members identify themselves through the QR and with their face.
