Layout types

Understand how Waitry’s layout types work!

What are the layouts? The layouts or floors are the differet sections/sectors of your venue where waitry is enabled and running. From the venue manager, we’ll be able to see different layout options. The layout type we should use will  depend on our service mode.

Fixed access points and multi-user access points: They are generally used for table service, in restaurant format, where the order is open and the waiter or runner delivers the order and charges at the end of the service.

Orders without fixed access points: Designed for sales that are placed over the counter. It is ideal when ordering in places without numbered tables, the customer pays and then picks up their order.

Take Away and Delivery: These are for off-site orders. One is when the customer picks up their order and the other is when the store delivers the order. In this type of layout, the codes are unique and there will not be more than one user per order.

Kiosk/Tablet:

This function is for both the waiter and the customer. From here the waitry will be able to take orders from table or you can give your customer a device from which the order will be placed. If you would like to access this sercvice, refer to the following article where we explain how to set everything up in KIOSK/TABLET mode.

Room Service:

Designed for hotels that offer that service. From this tab customers will access the menu and will be able to order from the app.

Amenities:

From this tab customers will be able to request articles that the hotel offers, such as fresh sheets, towels, toothbrush, soap, gel or any other cosmetics/amenities.

Digital menu:

Enabling this feature there will be a menu available when the venue is closed for business.
