Connect the Redsys virtual POS terminal provided by your bank, and your customers can pay for their Waitry orders by debit or credit card.

Redsys is the Spanish payment processing company that most of the country’s banks work with. It has been providing services to financial institutions – and, through them, to retailers – for over 40 years, handling both in-person and online payments.

It also provides services between financial institutions and operates in Latin America. Waitry and Redsys work together seamlessly so that you can accept payments via your bank’s virtual POS terminal.

## What connects

- **Your bank’s online POS**: You ask your bank for Redsys and they’ll sort out the registration. Then you connect that virtual POS terminal to Waitry.
- **Card payments for your orders**: Your customers pay for their orders on Waitry using a debit or credit card, and the money goes into your bank account.
- **One-step setup**: In the payment settings for your premises, enable Redsys and enter the merchant number, terminal number and the code sent to you by the bank. A green tick confirms that everything is ready.

- **Your bank’s virtual POS terminal**: You apply for it through your bank, which handles the process with Redsys, and then you link it to Waitry. You don’t need to open an account with anyone else.
- **Debit and credit cards**: Your customers pay for their Waitry orders by card, so you don’t have to take payment manually.
- **The money, to your bank**: The money you earn from Waitry is paid into your account at the bank you already use.
- **Your bank’s terms and conditions**: You agree the fees for the virtual POS terminal with your bank, just as you would for any other card payment.

### Where can I sign up for Redsys?

### What details do I need to connect it to Waitry?

The details sent to you by the bank in the post: merchant number, terminal number and encryption key.

### How much does it cost?

Fees for virtual POS terminals are agreed between each retailer and their bank. Please check with your bank.
