Lightspeed is a Canadian cloud-based POS provider offering integrated payment solutions for the hospitality and retail sectors. Its restaurant POS system includes kitchen displays, stock management, bookings and reporting, and is used by establishments in Europe, North America and Australia.

## What connects

- **Letter from Lightspeed**: Import the products you already have in Lightspeed into Waitry. If you make any changes, resync.
- **Chairs and tables**: Your front of house plans and tables are being transferred from Lightspeed to Waitry.
- **Table orders via the POS**: Orders placed by your customers at their tables using Waitry are sent to Lightspeed.
- **Takeaway and delivery via the POS**: Waitry’s takeaway and home delivery orders are sent to the POS system without having to re-enter them.

### Do I need to change my POS terminal?

No. You’ll continue using Lightspeed. Waitry imports your menu, floor plans and table layouts, and sends the orders to it.

### What do I need to connect it?

A Waitry plan that integrates with your POS system and your Lightspeed account. In Waitry, click ‘Connect’ and authorise Waitry in Lightspeed.

### Can I still create products on Waitry?

Better not. With the integration enabled, products are created in Lightspeed and synchronised. Any products you create in Waitry alone are not sent to the POS.
